Leading in Your Genius is the Only Way to Have Fulfilling Success
I have traveled a road that has taught me to look at the unexpected and unwanted results for my learning and growth. Instead of arguing with what is, which wasted energy and time, I shifted my perspective.
The many challenges I’ve faced have taught me the only thing that I can control is how I view what’s in front of me. How I want to think, what I want to focus on, and how I want to create my life and work is up to me. I am responsible.
Over the last few decades, having the opportunity to work with highly talented CEOs and business owners, I have found a commonality. Pursuing success has cost most leaders peace, knowing who they are, what they’re really here to do in the world, and daily joy. AND, they tend to feel alone at the top.
Having the opportunity to wake up from being the overachiever and believing that winning at all cost is the way to succeed has shifted me to living a thriving life. I have been blessed over decades of coaching, advising, and consulting CEOs and business owners to support their growth in all areas of their business and life.
How? We work with Conscious Leadership tools that shift beliefs that create drama and conflict. We practice with teams on how to get aligned and out of a toxic culture (anxiety, stress, and frustration). We discover a common way to understand and speak to one another by understanding our own voice. We learn how to be inclusive and compassionate. By learning to understand that everyone really desires the same goal we unite to drive collaboration and engagement that inspires and challenges.
Revenues sore and cultures transform.
Yoav Grossman - Co-Founder at Spinach.io | Nashville, TN
How often do you get introduced to experiences that change your life at work? Since we started Spinach.io, we decided to invest in ourselves and how we operate as a team. We began our journey with an amazing coach, Debra Sunderland, who has helped us learn not only mindfulness, but also how to become more conscious in our leadership. As part of this journey toward becoming conscious leaders, we started meditating as a regular practice, both individually and as a team. We found that not only did we enjoy taking a few minutes during the day to get centered, but also how energizing this activity was. This opened the door to how we could more effectively communicate and collaborate with each other as we delved into understanding ourselves better.
As a Conscious Leadership executive coach, Enneagram practitioner, and founder of Genius-Ship®, I have discovered ways to bring out the genius of each leader by engaging their full wisdom. Discovering who they want to become, what they are here to do, and how to see the genius in their teams.
Results: Genius-Ship® brings purpose, and worth to every day’s challenges and creates lasting wins!
After having a near death experience competing nationally as a competitive cyclist, I have discovered my genius. My genius is seeing the genius in you by helping you break free of your limiting beliefs and long-established misaligned patterns.
I believe the most important role a CEO can have is creating from this space and encouraging the genius in the people they work with. This truly is the only way to have sustainable engagement. We are more than just work! Being aligned with who you are called to be, and what you are here to do is transformational! The worry about having and being enough is irrelevant when we live in our genius!
As a Conscious Leadership executive coach and former Chicago Vistage chair, transforming cultures, lives, and outcomes is what brought me here to Nashville. I am supporting and raising up business owners and CEOs around the world by launching the Genius-Ship® Gold Roundtable. I am also developing leaders with the Genius-Ship® Silver Circle.
Our focus is to look at challenges together and go beyond roadblocks faster. When one executive or leader is supported by many they are able to see their blind spots and gain new perspectives that lead to wanted results.
Together we build a space of confidentiality, wisdom, connectedness, clarity, wins, and fun!
You already have the skills for what you DO! It’s time to look at how you unintentionally sabotage yourself and what behaviors keep you from moving forward. Be courageous. Face what you’re not facing. Stop running. Are you ready to choose your own development to lead intentionally?
If you are interested in knowing more about how I might support your inner and outer work, schedule your discovery call today!
I’m excited to be on this journey with you. My life was spared to wake you up to yours-and my genius is seeing your genius.
Peter Holsten - President at Holsten Management | Chicago, IL
Initially working with Debra, I soon learned that I was part of the reason that I was not getting the results I wanted. Once Debra showed me how important being a conscious leader (present and curious to learn) is instead of the autopilot baggage cart leader, things started to look up. With Debra’s prompting my senior managers started to gel as a team. We have much work yet to do, but I am finally seeing the leadership potential of each team member emerge. And let’s not forget the work I will be continuing to do with Debra: learning to become the best possible conscious leader of my team! To any leader who has drama and nonsense in the workplace, stop the madness now and improve productivity, worker well-being, longevity, and bottom line by working with Debra Sunderland.
Joy to you!
Xxoo,
Debra
